Porsche Party

E-mail Print PDF

All FSR members were invited to a "Porsche Party," held on Saturday July 10th. Everyone met about 5:00pm at The Smokey Pig restaurant (great barbeque) in Ashland. After dinner, the party attendees embarked on a half-hour Fun Run along some scenic back roads through Hanover and Goochland Counties. The final destination was the home of fellow PCA members Brad and Pam Brady at Wilde Lake. Along with co-hosts John and Belinda Pfeifer, dessert and drinks were provided, and everyone had the opportunity to socialize in Brad’s gorgeous and air-conditioned Carriage House. Videos featuring the various Porsche marques played in the background.

smoking_pigAs if the opportunity to be among Porsche friends and so many great cars was not enough, Brad’s Carriage House was extraordinary and not to be missed. It features a 5-bay show garage and part of his classic car collection. The interior has a 1950’s Texaco Station theme, along with period automobilia and automobile art. Upstairs is a recording studio.
