Date: Saturday April 16th 2011

Come on out and join us for the 2nd 987 Specific Tech Session in Zone 2. It’s going to be a great opportunity to get a good look at our beloved 987s. If you have a 987, or even if you’re just interested in learning more about the 987, come on out and join us to meet some of the dealership folks, meet some other 987 owners, eat some good food and have some real good times. I guarantee that you will walk away with a great experience and some new friends. I hope to see you there!
- We’ll have two cars on the lifts, one 2nd Gen Cayman and one Boxster
- We’ll cover the standard service (oil change, air filter, pollen filter, etc…)
- We’ll drop the skid plates and remove the engine covers to expose the underside and the engine
- Technician will points out things to look for and show us what to watch out for in the Swamp, like the low coolant, clogging drains and etc…)
- Ask a Technician (questions and answers that the members might have).
- Join us for a Cookout provided by the Porsche of Tysons Corner
- View a Cut Away engine and trans (so we can see the inner workings of our drive-train)
- Watch a demonstration on how to properly bleed the brake calipers and clutch
- Learn what is examined during a DE Track Inspection and why
- Join us for Questions and answers.
