TOPIC: Solution for Vinyl Car Number

Solution for Vinyl Car Number 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 1
I bought a pair of vinyl car numbers last year. The guy showed me how to put it on which seems simple enough. But I forgot what he said about the % rubbing alcohol in the solution. Does anybody know?

Thanks,
Jacob

Hi Jacob,

I actually use a typical 12-16 oz spray bottle with water and a few drops (2-3) of dishwashing detergent or liquid soap. This method will allow you to remove the numbers more easily down the road. It also gives you slightly more "re-set" time than alcohol does if you're not prone to getting it perfect the first time. Good luck!

Thanks Kevin,

I googled it and came up with the same as you described. Just put them on, and they looks great. Hope they stay put.

See you at the track.

Jacob
