I have a 2009 Caymen in need of a windshield. Any suggestions on whom to use for a replacement?

Gregg,

I had the windshield replaced in my '07 Boxster S about a year ago at the Safelite franchise on the Peninsula (Mercury Blvd). The individual there did a great job and knew exactly how to do the Porsche. He even knew the first windshield they sent him was the wrong one since it wasn't for a rain sensor and it should have been. The windshield they ordered for me was from Porsche so it took a few days to show up/wasn't in stock. The had me bring the car in and did it while I waited vice them trying to do it in my driveway...they know the wanted to do it in their facility so they could provide extra care for the Porsche.

I'm not sure if there is anyone better than another on the Southside but if you don't get any other info I suggest you try the Safelite closest to you.

Gregg,

Checkered Flag referred me to Bay Area Glasswhen my wife's BMW needed a windshield. it was a good experience and we've had no issues. Bay Area Glass is about a mile from Checkered Flag BMW on Va Beach Blvd north.

Good luck.
