Pack 720 Pinewood Derby

E-mail Print

Just a quick note to say, “Thanks” to all the First Settlers who brought their Porsches to the Pack 720 Pinewood Derby this past Saturday.  The car show was a huge success with the cub scouts and will definitely become a permanent part of the event from this year forward.  Eighteen classic and sporty cars were shown including 5 Porsches, 8 Mustangs and a “Herbie the Lovebug” VW.  Herbie was definitely the favorite and won the “Coolest Car” trophy for the show!  Thanks again to Dave and Donna Conklin, Bruce and Antonette Robinson, Todd Bassett and Craig Weber for helping make this event a winner!

Thanks,

Porsche RS Spyder fastest overall in first official practice for third round of ALMS

After outlasting the bumpy airport course at the 12 Hours of Sebring, and surviving the tight turns and concrete barriers through the streets of Long Beach, the Porsche drivers and teams will turn their attention to one of North American's classic road courses – the 2.238-mile, 11-turn sports car track known as Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
