Classics on the Green

The time is now to register for Classics on the Green Wine and European Automobile Festival. The event is September 15 and 16 in New Kent, Virginia. We have a great weekend planned including an insider tour of Colonial Downs for those who sign up for the Saturday drive. The show on Sunday will be spectacular including the featured marques Rolls Royce and Bentley with 50th birthday celebrations for the MGB and the Triumph Spitfire. Remember this is a pre-registration only show so encourage everyone in your club to sign up now on line at www.classicsonthegreen.com. They can take care of everything on the website at once and print their tickets for the events so there is no waiting that weekend. There are some great cars in your club and we’d love to see a large contingent next month! We are especially interested in classics and modern cars of interest that one doesn’t see on the road very often. Those who just want to be
spectators can enjoy the wine festival while they tour the show field and check out the many exhibitors and vendors including Foreign Cars Italia. Remember that we share a portion of the proceeds with The Fisher House to support the families of veterans and servicemen and women being treated at the VA Hospital in Richmond.
