The featured marque this year is Mercedes, but they’re looking for 50 911s for a display to commemorate 50 years of the 911. There are many categories of makes, models and years, so bring your pride and joy out and share it, Porsche or not. Concours condition not required. This is a participant’s choice show, so votes come from all those with cars in the show.
FSR will host a big hosiptality tent on the show field and will provide lunch and refreshments for FSR and Shenandoah Region members that come to the show.
All you need to do is sign up to enter your car in the show ($35/car and driver +1), or purchase tickets to attend as a spectator ($10/person) at the show’s website: www.classicsonthegreen.com. If you want your car on the show field, you must register as a participant, i.e. “Register A Car”. If you just want to attend and leave your car in the parking lot, then just “Purchase Show Tickets”. They offer wine tasting upgrades and packages as well, which you will have to purchase to consume wine or purchase by the bottle for consumption on site (no outside alcohol is permitted). A portion of the show proceeds goes to the Richmond Fisher House.
