Operation Guardian Inc. is sponsoring its First Annual Car and Truck Show on November 26th at 900 Centerville Turnpike in Chesapeake. Proceeds will benefit Operation Guardian Inc., a nonprofit, tax exempt foundation whose purpose is to provide and assist Public Safety Chaplains, in Hampton Roads, with routine costs which are usually not covered by their respective cities. These Chaplains are volunteers and are often called upon daily at all hours of the day and night to respond to various emergency incidents. As a result, they do this for free and by using their personal resources. The focus of Operation Guardian is to provide these Chaplains with the following resources: Transportation Assistance; Ballistic Vests; Cell Phone and/or Service; Financial Assistance; and Training. Any donations or gifts may be tax-deductible.
