Bryan and Paula both hail from Ohio and moved to the Tidewater area in 1996. Paula’s background includes work as a research scientist in genetics and later as a spine specialist in medical sales. Bryan began his Navy career as a Naval Flight Officer before becoming an orthopaedic surgeon. They have been FSR members since 2017 and hold a joint membership in the Shenandoah Region. In addition, they enjoy participating in activities with the Carolinas Region.

They enjoy many aspects of FSR/PCA, including planning, executing, and leading Fun Runs; connecting with others through social events; participating in HPDEs; and volunteering at track-based activities such as HPDE and Club Race. Their first Porsche was a 2001 Boxster S. Paula currently drives a Macan S, and Bryan’s daily driver is a Cayenne GTS. For Fun Runs and similar events, they drive their 991.1 Turbo S cabriolet, and Bryan’s track car is a 718 Cayman GT4.

Outside of PCA activities, they enjoy touring on two and three wheels; Paula on her Can-Am and Bryan on his motorcycle. Bryan divides his track time between his Ducati and his Porsche.
