Fund raising, food donations, member raffles, driving and socializing are all part of our Thanksgiving time charity focus: Turkeys in the Trunk. All proceeds and food donations benefit local food banks in the Virginia Beach and Richmond areas.
On the second Saturday of each month Richmond area members gather for breakfast and to catch up with each other. Always a diverse turn out of cars to enjoy and great conversation abound.
First Settlers Region is a member of PCA Zone 2, so why not take advantage of the zone hosted Boardwalk Reunion in Atlantic City New Jersey. Miles of Porsche on the Boardwalk. Enjoy!
On the first Saturday of each month Williamsburg area members gather for breakfast and to catch up with each other. What a way to spend a Saturday morning before the household chores take over the day.
FSR and other PCA members gather at VIRginia International Raceway to see IMSA drivers and teams compete in the Weathertech Series. Racing, relaxing and refreshments at a world class race facility. As Paul Newman said – “if there is a heaven on earth, it is VIR”.
With some friends from Potomac Region, we tour the countryside and visit some historic locations related to US Presidents. Dubbed the Dead President’s Tour, driving and history come together. Great resorts, great people, great cars, and great activities make for a wonderful weekend.
Some call these gatherings cars & coffee, others caffeine and octane, we call it Rennsport Rendezvous and they occur every month on the last Saturday of the month. If you find yourself in or near Suffolk in the afternoon, come join us.
Each winter many FSR members make the journey to Florida to see great cars and meet up with old friends. Member George Michaels is a devoted 928 evangelist who commonly takes home awards from various car shows he enters.
If the unthinkable happens, it is nice to know that we have a certified body repair facility in the region. Barry Dorn educates us on body damage repair and vehicle straightening.
Almost 30 of our members made the journey (all drove) to French Lick Indiana to participate in Porsche Parade.
Eric and Jill Cruz generously hosted our Tech Session titled Concourse Prep. Lead by Alex Llorente, we spent time learning more about concours events and even got a chance to judge his 60th Anniversary Club Coupe. What a great way t spend an afternoon after a long Covid-19 related hiatus from events.
